- 4 Monwanas arrived west, 1 was already seen in company of Mhangenis (might explain why we saw only 3 in Londolozi hunting buffalos)
- 1 PCM is with Ximhungwes
Monwanas better have their running shoes ready, it wont be long until PCMs found out that 4 nomads are in their territory.
PCM really do need to sweep their territory as it is also said that a Ximunghwe female is pregnant (seems like the older Xim) and the Mhangeni Pride would really need the PCM this time as Monwana Boys is getting at that age to be aggressive to other cubs and for the Kruger and South Avoca Males seems like they still have the drive to be a dominant male especially the Kruger Male.

Not necessarily true with the Monwanas, PCMs may chase them but if Monwanas stick with Mhangeni Pride they will most likely be left alone unless PCMs come across them while seeking out Othawas. They’ve made it very clear they don’t care about that pride ever since bigger PCM chased them from Othawas. I mean Tumbela was chased once by PCMs and has been left alone since, nothing is stopping him from going back to Mhangenis either.
NK and Khanya will prolly make their way over there too within the coming days, it’s their natural path from MalaMala. KM + S.Avoca should be the first on the PCMs agenda, the only ones there proven capable of actually winning a confrontation against atleast one of the PCMs, most likely bigger PCM, and have also killed atleast one cub in the West.

Yea but it doesnt matter if they dont care for Mhangenis, theres a big difference between having 1 unhealthy/submissive/harmless nomad hanging in your area, and having a coalition of 4 up and coming 4 year olds..
Theres no way PCMs would allow a coalition of 4 males to establish themselves inside their borders, which is basically everything west of western Londolozi.
When PCMs sniff them out, youngsters are out, being with Mhangenis or no.

Even then I don’t think it matters much, PCMs can’t chase them out the West if they decide they’re staying, it’s both simply too big and we’ve not seen the PCMs put in the necessary time and effort to try out any of these other nomads hence them all returning.
It’s a shame cos a young coalition of 4 would be perfect for Mhangenis and Othawas too, they still need to grow some more obviously to even try claim territory from PCMs, but I hope they stick in Sabi Sands. Very tough situation for Mhangenis, a coalition that would in the future be able to protect them, but this very second may be the reason the youngsters perish.
I do think Monwanas will eventually feel the pressure and leave, explore other parts but it will be more of the same, very experienced duo with no mating females. Ndzengas only have two prides which they fully claim, Gijimas only real weakness is Styx Pride / Southern Pride which these boys would have to go through Msutlu Pride which is who Gijimas usually hang with. Sand River Pride with Nkhulus.. I mean ye not a great idea.
So if they are to stick around, realistically they’re either gonna try become dominant in the North or West. Would not be surprised if they keep returning West and trying to bide their time.

Nomads travel and hang in other territorial males territory aswell, not only PCMs.
It depends of their traverse area, for example:
- NK male traversed area of West - Central - South for years (when OM/Tumbelas, Bboys and Ndhzengas where territorial in those areas) and that didnt change now with Talamati as partner, and with new territorial males in those areas, they are just hanging more south nowdays (Gijimas area).
- Tumbela hangs in West for years, except when he joined NK and went south
- Kruger male and S.Avoca are new nomads and new partners, but looks like they established traverse area of North - Central - West.
- Kambulas are traversing North - Central - South
As we see, all these "established" nomads have preferable pattern of movement, which goes thru territories of multiple territorial coalitions.
Monwanas are new in the area, they are just randomly moving and exploring, they still dont know who is territorial where, they might return north and in Manyeleti/Timbavati tomorrow for all we know.
It'd be great if PCM were ousted from Singita, in the future the Othawa, Mangheni and Tsalala could be under more reliable males. Othawa in their OG Ottawa territory, Mangheni in the south and Tsalala in northern Londolozi/eastern Singita.
PCM barely if at all cares about any of them anyways, let them stick to the only pride they like and actually protect. The Western Sector without Singita is more than big enough for the Ximhungwe but still not so big that 2 strong males can't fully protect.
Still I doubt Monwana are ready for such a task, Kruger/Avoca are way too old, only possible real option would be Kambulas, perfect age and numbers to control a big area with many prides, but unfortunately they are way too weak for their age and numbers, unable to even take over the mostly empty northern sector, never mind push the PCM out of Singita.

I wouldn´t count out Nkuhuma and Khanya, they arent much if any smaller than PCM, Khanya already shown signs of confidence before and Nkuhuma is in top shape and prime , I remmber how he defended himself pretty well against 3 Kambulas and their sister at the time so he must not be a pushover when in a fight , funny enough that is probably the most agressive thing I saw Kambulas do to other males, besides chasing KM or defending a kill against the Avocas
But even without counting that Nkuhuma is 8 years old and always on top shape, and its not like he has been lucky so far, he is an extremly good hunter so I do think that him and Khanya are a good option
I get that people get suspicious when it comes to Nkuhuma but we didnt know what happend both times

I dont think thats possible without completly defeating/ousting PCMs.
PCMs will not give up Singita just like that and hide in western sector.
They know, coalition who is strong enough to beat them in Singita, can and will do that in Western sector aswell.
I donk know. That is assuming the PCmales strategize like that.
I can easily see a coalion settling in Singita and Londolozi with the Mangheni end Nkuhumas etc. Forcing the PCmales to retreat west until they reach a point that they notice that the new coalition lost interest in pushing them further. They can then coexist for a while in the deep west.
Eventually, much like the PCmales before, the newcommers will push for the western prides. But that might not be for months and may allow atleast the Ximhungwe cubs to grow up.
Offcource its just one of the less likely ways this will pan out. But who knows.
