There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Not sure, possibly s26 males.
do they still control lukimbi pride

No not since early 2022, they abandoned them for the pride young jocks took from them near renosterpan. And hippo pools males rule Lukimbi now

throw back to late of 2009 .

The old Byamiti coalition when they are four male lions around  ( Breg en dal ) try thier best to take over some pride there .

Sadly in the future around 2012 or 2013 only 2 remaning males but they become Byamiti/Asfaal area and part of Jock Safari lodge .

I wonder if the 3 Trasnport Dam males are thier offspring .

This is tragic.  I guess a slow takeover of sorts is happening after the outing of the 2 old dominant males.  One was killed and the other is alone now.  It was bound to happen.   The very youngest will have an incredibly hard time to survive.   The ones older than 2 have a fighting chance.
