At least the Othawa pride have support of Tumbela males, so Othawas should be safe unless DM decides to come to the West aswell

Yea when Tumbelas are with them they are safe, but they are not always with them, if Othawas bump into 8 pretty much adult (heck those subadult females are already the size of that old female) that could be disaster.
I am not to concerned about it. They are not there for a fight.
If the pride and Tumbellas are vocalizing enough the Talamatis will probably keep their distance.
Though if the Tumbellas think too much with their lower brains. They may get themselves in trouble.
