There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"This Talamati Pride blessed us early this morning. One of the last 3 Northern Avoca Males runs this pride. He trailed behind his ladies and young males in a dominant show of leadership, watching over their gradual progression through the tall grasses of Sabi Sand. "

Her mother is such an incredible lioness, raising this young one through the hardest of times. Bothersome that the last few images I've seen have been of her alone, hope all of the added stresses haven't prematurely aged her mother, or that she hasn't been injured.

How old is the daughter exactly?  Do you think her mother could be denning?

She was born in March of 2019, so it makes her nearly 26 months old. It's speculated her mother could be denning, yes, since they aren't always seen together much recently.

I was going to say around 2 years, but @lionuk put a more precise date.

Thank you for that, I knew she was approximately 2 years, but your comment was much more precise and appreciated.
