Sorry if these photos have been shared here already but I couldn't not post them as I'm awestruck by how magnificent the Leeubron males are:

I always heard they were the biggest males on Kruger but holy cow they look huge, seems bigger than the bigger Mbiri male and I'm not sure if even the big Gomondwane male "Tank" can match them.
In fact even looking at the Greater KNP's past it's hard to think about males that looked bigger than them or even matched how impressive they seem to be, there were other huge males in the past like prime HB who looked insane in some vids and pics, and in the few photos and vids of him, "Ximpoko" from Timbavati had a similar body to these Leeubron ( Timbavati even claimed he weighed 283kg with a full stomach and was estimated 253kg empty, though I've seen people contest the validity of the weight here so I'll not affirm it's a fact ), but the only one I'd be confident to say was bigger was the Black Dam Male with his insane height, length and huge head.
Of course it's impossible to properly estimate lions from photos and stuff and I might be completely off, it's really mostly just a fun "game", but I couldn't stop myself from commenting on these males' size when I saw these photos.
Old Fourways Blondie seen today between Nyamundwa dam and Phabeni. Hes coming up to 14 years this year. He was also seen yesterday sitting by one of the Phabeni males whilst he was mating by Taylor below.

Hello I had a question. The two old Shishangaan lions were controlling the Mananga and Mountain Prides right? But after Xihamham's death is the remaining male still in power or is he a nomad?
Also do we have any background info of the Trichardt lions who killed him? Like where they came from?

Not sure what aftermath was, but he will prob be ousted by Trichardts (if he isnt already).

Trichardt's where 5 males who where territorial northeast of Tshokwane, on s35 and s37 roads, since 2019/20.
Then in early 2022, 3/5 brothers came north and invaded Singita Lembombo area from the south, ousting Kumana/Maputo males.
1 of those 3 had bad limp and disappeared shortly after ( prob dead ) or returned south.
2 remaining brothers where not seen since those 3 came north, and their former area is now dominated by 4 younger Mazithi males and 5 Sweni males.
So very likely 3 missing brothers are gone at this point and only this 2 are left (although not confirmed).
Is there a breakaway mjejane pride or is there just one single pride that the hippo pool males ruling? Any ideas how many mjejane males subadult sons (mjejane pride) survived when their fathers abandoned them? Any info on their whereabouts?

I remembered when ive first heard about the mjejane males was when their six half brothers tried to challenge them on leovantage videos. It was Moe and the other five boys.
In those comments people were saying mjejanes needs to protect their cubs which they did. after killing off five of their six half brothers the mjejane males abandoned mjejane pride.
They must have surviving sons when they abandoned them but ive never heard anything about their prides or cubs

Mjejanes are territorial since 2018.
Mjejane was only part of their territory, their core territory was over the river into Kruger, around Lukimbi.
I know they where/are Lukimbi pride males.
Their oldest offspring is over 4 years old atm, young sons are prob ousted at this point.
