There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

No, Skukuza is like ~30km from Lower Sabie.

Those looks do resemble the darker maned NK Male.  It could be him, and I'd be interested in knowing more about the lions in that area, whether it's him or not.  Thanks for the photo I haven't seen yet.   He has a sort of longish muzzle, too, like the one above....

Some facts about how the N. Avocas with S. Avocas got together to the northern part of Manyelity, and a tribute to the great DM Avoca.

( This post was last modified: 08-27-2024, 12:33 PM by Mwk85 Edit Reason: Corrected information )

Mohawk and the Southern Black Dam male on a impala kill they stole from the Djuma hyena clan. Doesn't show it in the video but SBDM was severely limping on his left front leg as he moved toward Mohawk. Inquired as to what may have happened, waiting to hear back.
