Lets not get ahead of ourselfs here.
1. All dominant males roar on daily bases, you can find videos of Avocas roaring from every week, or month in the past, nothing new here.
2. 5 Nharu males where seen in Buffelshoek for 1 day around month and half ago, thats the only sighting of them in Sabi Sands, ever..
I wont belive until i see a trusted report/photo of somebody that they are indeed in Sabi Sands, i certaintly wont belive when somebody says "Avocas are roaring, it must be that 5 young males are invading their territory"..
3. Dark Mane with Talamati pride are photographed regulary in South Manyeleti /Buffelshoek, and not even 1 photo of 5 young males? Hmm
4. 5 Nharu males are nowhere near ready for territory takeover, they are too young, 2 months ago they where chased of a buffalo kill by 1 Red Road male, 3 Avocas would murder them at this stage.

This is their photo from Buffelshoek more then a month ago, cmon guys, they barely have manes yet,lets calm down a bit, they are not even 4 yrs old.

Looking good, putting on size. Where are they now?
It looks like N'waswishaka males are slowly moving further north. I hope that Birminghams can hold on yet for a year or so so the current Kambula cubs do not go to waste althrough 2vs4 is certainly not easy task.

Lions: For some time now we’ve been seeing tracks of male lions in eastern Flockfield and we finally got our first sighting of 2 new and slightly nervous males (photos attached in comment section below). Time will tell if they’re just passing bye or if the Gowrie males’ unchallenged reign is about to be challenged. The incumbent males were viewed with all 21 members of the Kambula pride near Pat’s Drift Koppies. They moved west after an unsuccessful buffalo hunt. The Marthly pride was viewed twice in Marthly and the Eyrefield pride were seen in the south.

Well there are 6/7 males among Kambula subadults/cubs, so yea.

We found 4 male lions, still at the kill they made yesterday; all lying down breathing heavily and exhausted. We left them sleeping close to the buffalo carcass, guarding it from the vultures flying around just waiting to get the leftovers.

Two new males on mala mala are not N'waswishaka males, eastern Flockfield are torchwood pride teritory, I think this new males can be torchwood pride males.

Yea, it seems that other 2 joined them.. Bad news for Bboys and Othawa male if these guys push further north.. Lets hope that Tinyo and Nhena can defend their offspring for 1 more year otherwise we could get another "mhangeni boys" case...
The biggest of N'waswishakas wil be a beast, what a beautiful lion he is at only 4/5 yrs old..

Yes, although I still have some doubts that these 4 can with Tinyo & Nhenha, we will be attentive to the events. If it happened, it would be something very similar to what the Birminghan boys gave the Matimbas in the past.

Well, as we discuss in previous threads, those 4 boys still have 0 attention in takeover, they still just follow/hunt buffaloe heards, 2 older brothers are ready to fight big males, but 2 younger ones are still too young..
I still think those 4 males will not take any actions for atleast half to an year..

That's right, I think the same and that's why my doubts that they can be an unstoppable threat to the Bboys.
