Wow. That's great news! How did he even do it?

The male tiger that was gonna be shifted to Seljar Range of MHTR, being tracked & thought to be T-110...

(All names are G-map links as usual)

A young male tiger crossed the Chambal river, via Keshavraipatan area of Bundi have reached Mandavari area of Sultanpur range.
Before this he was last seen in a rugged area near a farm, where he hunted a Nilgai, at Laxmipura village of Notada (Dharwan) Panchayat.

The forest workers of Bundi district, tracking him Saturday morning, informed the officials in Kota district about fresh pugmarks of the tiger.
Now for the purpose of monitoring the tiger, the duty of the forest workers has been imposed for 24/7. Camera-traps are also going to be laid once his position is located, for identification. But he hasn't stopped moving yet, his age is being described as 7-8 years & guessed to be T-62 or T-110.

In the river ravines & scrubland of Sultanpur range, a tigress T-35 had already come from Ranthambore & lived for nearly five years as the corridor ends there. She is believed to have later been poached.

This tiger too might get stranded there, if he's taken that wrong route. Otherwise, with luck, he might reach Mukundara!

Edit:
As per latest update today morning the tiger's photo was captured & is believed to be T-110, age is about 2.5 to 3 years old..

*This image is copyright of its original author

9 years after the T-35, tiger T-110 has entered the Sultanpur area through the Bundi area through the gullies along the banks of Chambal river that separates the Bundi & Kota districts.

*This image is copyright of its original author

The river goes through Mukundara hills, but before that about 50kms from Ranthambore, the eroded barren thickets give way to farmland & ultimately the city of Kota.

*This image is copyright of its original author

He has got absolutely no chance of reaching Mukundara naturally, just like T-35 before him.
...was later reidentified as T-98, son of T-60. The teams after him suddenly lost his trail about a fortnight ago. No tracks, no scats, no sighting reports.
It's like he just vanished in thin air!

And now he's in Mukundara, by himself... & i have no idea how he managed to do what i was (pretty) sure was impossible, but I've never been more happy to be wrong!

All's well that ends well.

Nine Years Unanimous Undisputed reign and Supreme Monarch rule of Kuno Male in Kuno Kingdom as Emperor

T- 38 Kuno Male Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh

T- 38 came out of Ranthambore in October 2010 and migrated to Kuno National Park and ruling his established Kingdom irrefutable for now completely 9 years !

Even though the Kuno NP didn't got (On the way) Asian (Gir) Lions, which has identified as one of the major tourist destination on the map in the Sheopur district, but the Male T-38 has emerged from the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve (Rajasthan's Sawaimadhoapur district) ruling indubitable for almost 9 years

However, in these 9 years some other tigers from Ranthambore have also come to the Sheopur district but, only Tiger T-38 settled here comfortably and permanently. Since entering the Palpur in October 2010 and tracing by the camera trap for the first time on February 3, 2011 the Kuno male is showing unique and powerful dominance in the area. This is the reason why this male consistently shows his presence.

DFO's latest click from mobile camera
The pictures of Tiger T-38 have been caught in camera traps many times, but on the night of March 1 2019, Kuno DFO, Brigendro Srivastava himself captured a tiger photograph in his mobile camera. When DFO Shrivastav was returning from Palpur's Rest House with his fellow officers, in the night appeared T- 38 Kuno male. Grabbing that opportunity, he stopped his car and clicked the photograph of the tiger.

Putting aside T- 38, those some other Ranthambore stray striped cats (5 to 7 tigers) which reside fleetingly in Palpur are all males? No females?

Back then, some tiger cubs are reported and sighting in the Kuno region

What an absolute beauty this young fella is! We’ve managed to catch up with this two and a half year old male a couple of times - he’s been very obliging on both occasions and totally unconcerned with us being around. When you’re up close, you really get to appreciate the size of male Bengal tigers; they’re just huge.

Sadly, this week will very likely be the last time that I see him, as within the next few months, he will be forced out by the dominant adult male and have to try to establish a territory for himself, beyond the tourist zones of Ranthambhore.

It’s been a honour to be in his presence.

Back then, some tiger cubs are reported and sighting in the Kuno region

The 2010 All India Tiger Esimation detected "evidence of new areas populated by tigers, e.g. Kuno-Palpur Wildlife Sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh".

There was a report in January 2015 that 7 tigers moved to Kuno after 2010, all transient males. It was based on the study "Tiger dispersals in the semi-arid landscape of north-west" by Sunny Shah, Sailaja Nayaki and Jimmy Borah, that found female tigers disperse less than half o the distance of male tigers.
From the news updates we've been following on this thread, breeding tigresses have made it only upto Kailadevi buffer of RTR, that too not many.

There's also a post on this tiger census at Kuno, suggesting multiple tigers are present all over the place. Hard to tell which sex at this point...

Kuno resonates with roars of several tigers

GWALIOR: In the forest of Sheopur in MP, the work of counting wildlife is being done since last week. First phase of the census is going to be completed on Saturday. The team which is counting in the Kuno, also saw tiger's pugmarks in the Agra area. It is being said that the number of tigers is more than one in the forests of the district.

It is being told that tiger in Kuno were present in the area of Palpur from Veerpur. This may be a new tiger, which has got pugmarks in the Agra area.

Signs picked up by the census teams running the field operation in Kuno Sanctuary show that the number of panthers has also increased.
Because their pugmarks & scats are also being found in large numbers by the teams. In the previous census 4 years ago, the number of panthers in the district was stated to be around 45.

Presently their number is being estimated to have crossed 50.

Here that the first phase of the census is being carried out now, under which documentation forms are being filled, in which the number of animals which are available in the field, etc. are being written.
After the second phase of the operation, with the help of camera traps, GPS positioning etc. will be taken. Only after this will the current status of wildlife be clear. Although its report will come from Dehradun, where experts will calculate it, and after that the report will be released with all the corresponding data.

"It is true that the Agra side also has tiger pugmarks. But one just can not say anything about their numbers or whether they are resident animals or just dispersing males. That will only be known after camera-trapping process in completed & analysed, both here & in Ranthambore in Rajasthan. Its report are declared by WII experts after the complete calculations on a test basis. Only then can we know if Kuno has a viable tiger population or not."
Brijendra Shrivastav, DFO, Kuno-Vanandal-Sheopur.

A tiger was sighted strolling along Sheopur-Sawai Madhopur Highway by one Anand Garg from his car, in Sheopur district of MP on 11th February 2019.
Apprently it's quite a common occurrence in the area between Ranthambore & Kuno-Palpur...

More importantly, it's stripes don't match with T-38 here...
