"The Birmingham male popping onto to Chitwa this evening, it could be an interesting evening around here."

Mohawk and the Nkuhumas with the cubs are also on Chitwa

So again Birmingham vs Avoca this year.
Now it's 1 vs 1.

Not exactly, as NK is with Nhenha in the north.

I hope they dont cause trouble for Mohawk, but it would be great to see them on WildEarth agan, especially Nhenha, after 4.5 years.

Nkuhuma and Nhenha right now at Chitwa:

Looks like Nhenha also have some scratches on the nose, and NK almost lost an eye yesterday, they definitely already had some clash here, but its not known with who, Mohawk looked without a scratch today, so i would rule him and NK cubs group out.
Possibly Nkuhuma subs group as they are also in this area.

Great news that these two are together so Nhenha can clean NYM's eye and hopefully prevent the eye loss.

I agree, it could be Nkuhuma subs, although they are no match for Nhena and NK when it comes to size and age, they are 5 males together so have numbers advantage. It couldnt be DM and his sons as they were seen today with little injuries.

NK group are 8 lions, some of which quite big already, they could definitely stand up to them and give few swipes if they where defending carcass or something like that.

Talamatis where further west 2 days ago, but without DM and Orange Eyed male, who where seen near Mohawk, and DM was seen at MalaMala alone since.

Maybe it could be a scrap between them and DM/Orange Eyed male, which result into DM spliting.

But yea, we dont know.

Can we we even rule out Nhenha and Nkuhuma had a scrap again? There is no apparent motive for it but Nkuhuma has a history of intracoalition fighting (going wrong, all coalitions fight to some degree once in a while), he was injured by Nhenha on the same cheek and ofc there is the possible freakish result of fight on a kill with SYM as we will never know what exactly injured him fatally. It is too serious to look like it, but if we eventually run out of other posible culprits, it is nature, hard to rule out anything, it is a posibility, could be without a substantial cause just a quarell from general grumpiness getting too big and impactful. Nhenha is at least known to be in the vicinity.

They have no female to fight for it here, and i doubt they would fight like that over carcass, so its very unlikely they fought each other this time.

Al in all, aside of the eye the damage on the two lions doesn't seem that severe, so it is possible.
An accident during a scrap over food in which a claw gets caught in Nyms eyebrow, which then lashes out to Nhenha in turn.

Odds would be severely against it. But stuff like that does likely happen.

What was the movement of these two between the 13th and 19th? I noticed in the Nkorho video that the Nkuhumas males eye is already damaged. Did they go back west in that time or lurk in MalaMala?

I have not heard of them venturing back into the western sector since they were seen together up north. Not to say it didn't happen, but I don't recall reading about it.
