There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I’d like to shared what I’ve learned about this pride recently the 9 talamati subadults from 2019 belong to the matimba daughter silver eye and silver eyes sister as the selati girls where only 3 years old and didn’t give birth too any of them (I was unaware of that lol) but the 4 remaining msuthu females are two pair of littermates belonging too silver eye and the matimba talamti female silver eyes sister only had khanya as her daughter was killed by the plains camp males

Tysm! Its crazy how things turned out in just a couple of years, you had a pride doing so fine and seems stable, than it came S8, lionesses started dying and the rest is history, now we have 4 young lionesses and none of the "old" ones besides them, a different name ( for me it still doesnt make sense for the original pride name change and not the breakaway)
Besides being young they are doing very very good in their new region
For the Selati daughter, she went from having 2 sisters and a strong pride male, having cubs and subs to nothing in a matter of a year or so, I hope she can atleast try to rebuild her pride and keep the Talamati and her blood out there wich would be more than deserved

Yeah I thought the same thing but after I thought about it even if she isn’t able to rebuild her pride the name talamati may fade but their bloodline will likely never… same with the Sparta pride they’ve been gone awhile now but their bloodline is in basically over half of sabi sands
