The remaining sub is definitely not Tiyelele' son, as per a guide's response to my direct question about this.

That’s interesting so it could be the son of her sister the other Talamatie Selatie daughter?

I'm not sure.  He just said 'aunt'.  So, it could be the other Selati daughter.  50% chance between her and the Matimba daughter. Sometimes guides say 'aunt' to refer to any of the other lionesses, though....

Figuring out a way to include this in their perspective threads.

Tiyele Talamati -Wildearth
9 July 2024

Update - both Cedric and James had the boys tracks near camp .

Tiyele was seen with the Kambula K12 female on drive - who was sporting a few new light injuries.

The S8 son was not seen so hopefully he’s close by.

meanwhile that could be great!
Maybe they can make a small pride joining each other like Ximhungwe Selati daughter and Othawa female

That would be great for the two females. If somehow the S8 son could also be among them it will be really nice development

If the Kambula males move on to Manyeleti and the sister splits and joins the Talamati female it'd be perfect.

Ideally the S8 son could be part of this small pride but he's independent already and it'd be great if some reliable males could take over K12/Tiyelele potential pride.

Both females look to be very comfortable together right now

Please note, that Vestment from Manyeleti reported two females were together three days ago, so they have been near other for that long

There was facebook post from Manyeleti few days ago with description of 4 Kambulas and 2 females, but only Kambula female was seen on photos/videos, so everybody dissmiss that.

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/5gozULNjLpPJJvNE/

If thats correct, that could explain why sub male is missing/not with 2 girls.

Would also explain wounds on Tiyele, she is not in estrus, so males could attack her.

Unfortunatley not looking good for sub male.

that was deep in the Manyeleti... Khoka Moya, isn't it?

I didnt know Talamati/Tiyelele would go that far, but also wouldn't doubt.

It would be a misfortune if the male sub died... That would mean every single sub of the S8 with the Talamati pride would be gone, right?
Hopefully he's just avoiding K12? Idk what else to expect.

Its best for Kambula males to leave. At this point they have nothing to offer but danger for others and themselves.

This may be the impetus needed to push the 4 males to begin trying to become territorial/dominant, if these two females remain in one another's company. It would be great for the Talamati Pride as well, as the Kambula sister has shown herself to be a very capable huntress.

As for the young male, I believe the two females being together is a good sign that he is well. By that, I mean that I do not think Tiyelele' would be so comfortable and casual around this female, if her brothers had just done him harm, not this quickly anyhow. Time will tell.

The post from Vestment did not say the boys and the two girls were together. It was interpreted as such but after asking Vestmet directly, he said the females were in the south of Manyeleti while the boys were at his location.

Also, the sister was only seen in pics w her brothers on the first day. Not after so I think people assumed it happened together.

I am not sure the Talamati boy has been harmed….but next few days will be important.
