There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Usually Hyenas do not mess with male Lions as they are aware of the consequences. In this case the Lion feasting on the Buffalo carcass was too old and they tried to steal a few pieces of his meal. A few of the pack tried to distract him away from the carcass while the others had a go at the meal. The Lion made a few attempts to chase them away and in the end he called for his partner called Earless who was sleeping some distance away. Earless heard the calls and came over to chase them away.

Two new males have entered the territory of the Marsh Pride. This is the blond maned of the two. They are about 5 years old and handsome boys. But it will take time to convince the Lionesses to accept them.

Enguyanai pride have been seen by the ranger base near great plains. They are now with Mohican and Romeo2. Romeo2 is still looking skinny and his right hind leg has not completely healed. They were strolling for supper when they came across a bull Buffalo and they were just walking past it. Guess they wanted something light.

Members of the famous Marsh pride are currently in Mara North Conservancy. We found 10 of them on a buffalo kill recently. Charm and Siena's son are pictured here.
