From Savanna Reserve recent vlog, Mhangenis where there with 5 females and a cub, which would mean that all females are accounted for, as 6th female is for few months now split and in Singita (unless she rejoined, but I doubt that).

All recent Mangheni pride sightings have been 5 females with one sub-adult. This means two lionesses are missing or have separated from the pride, one strangely is the sub-adult's mom. Also heard the lionesses are aligning with the PC males. Any information on this from the rangers in Singita / Londolozi ?

Most recent sighting was 5 adults + 1 sub, which means 1 female is missing, prob one who is in Singita.

The Mhangeni Pride has spent the last two days resting close to a waterhole, with full bellies. This morning the pride started grooming, stretching, and drinking water, all signs that they may start to get active again.
Lions have protracted claws that are sheathed when relaxed. When tendons are flexed, the claws are exposed. Scratching on trees will help keep claws sharp and in good condition. It also helps to stretch tendons that are used to flex the claws.

If I could ask those with a great eye for the Mhangeni lionesses can tell if the Sub’s mother is Ming these seen?   I can at least see Tinya but I don’t know the other as well.

Yeah, The Big Boy Sister mated with him for a few weeks and we never saw any results.
Another lioness was seen mating about two months ago w Gore and another lioness recently with PCMs, I haven’t seen them mating consistently anywhere.

Im guessing when a lioness bump into an adult male,  they are seperating from the rest of the pride trying to mock mate in order protect that subadult.

So it turns out that 2nd female on this picture is actually Tsalala young female.

The fact that the Tsalala young female is being tolerated by the Mangheni is an indication that she could be accepted in this pride??

So if I understand correctly, Othawa Male still has 1 cub alive, a female, right? Who is her mother? One of the original Mangheni? That'd make her a sister to the Kambulas, right?

Yes, the Mhangeni have one last cub from OM alive.  She’s a female whose mom is one of the 4 Original Tsalala Breakaways (Mapogo Daughters)

This makes this cub (and three younger lionesses) more like a half sister/cousin to the 6 original Kambulas since they’re also their daughters.
