UPDATE: The 6 breakaway Birmingham males travelled about 13 kilometres through the heart of the Mayambula’s territory and have just killed a buffalo on the prides northern outskirts.
Lion dynamics heating up hot in Balule. The two well-known and impressive Sark/Masungulo males were sighted a few days ago feeding of a male lion carcass that they've killed in the same day!!

Unfortunately they killed the short tailed male this time. The biggest of the brothers

One of the Masungulo males seen before he met up with the young Kudyelas. He went back to fetch his partner that night before returning to chase the intruders off and killing one of the young Kudyela males.

Smart move by this guy, he knows going to chase the intruders is too risky so he decided to reunite with his brother first. How many Kudyela males are there now? |
