Tsalala pride :

Tsalala female is on a good way to raise her daughter to independence, young female is only 2 months short of 2 yrs of age.

This female is also around 4 months older then Sparta young cub who is on a brink of losing her mother, althrough its not guarantee that even this cub would survive on her own, she definitely would have better chances then younger Sparta female..

So Sparta lioness died.. Damn, thats a sad sighting..

Young female prob has 1 month or so left to live (if she doesnt get killed), she has that window to potentialy find another pride or some lions to join, althrough chances are not great.

Who took this photo?

Very sad to know she's alone now.

Maybe she can stick with her healthy fathers and scavenge off them, catch very small prey, and try to avoid other prides/hyenas/leopards, etc... Very tall order, but it's now or die, unfortunately.  She has no choice but to scrap together a living with everything she has.  She's going to need it with absolutely no help, and certainly none forthcoming from any rangers, even if she gets injured.
