Another trivia question for you long timers, any idea which lion or coalition has ruled the most prides at any one time? Has there ever been a coalition ruling 4 prides at the same time?

MAjingillanes in 2012-2014 had Fourways, Styx, Tsalala, Sparta and Mhangeni prides. In 2014 they added to it Othawa pride althrough  through 2015 they lost 4 of those and were left with just Mhangeni and Othawa prides.

Noticed this lioness too, she has some tissue hanging from her rear, it doesn't look like a wound so maybe she gave birth recently? Probably not the same lioness, her cubs won't be walking yet.

Great sighting! That lioness definitely just gave birth.

That could be the lioness seen in Mala Mala who looked heavily pregnant... but her cubs would be too young and immobile at this stage. So it seems like there is this lioness, another lioness with 3 cubs (who would be much bigger than the cub on the dam cam) and then a third lioness. Probably torchwood too based on the location.

They are still showing no signs of that behavior, that they are ready for challenging dominant males.. Might change soon tho, as they are are over 4,and 4.5 yrs old now.
