Got my fingers crossed that they find each other. Would be much easier if they could contact call. But I doubt they'd risk that as it would most likely attract unwanted attention from the S. Avocas, N'waswitshakas and the Birminghams. Will be interesting to see what comes of the next generation of males in SS. What with the Torchwood Male, Nkuhuma Male, Styx Male, Othawa Junior and the 3 Sand River Males either nomadic, or soon to be nomadic.

Well the future is bright in Sabi Sands, many young males are hanging around atm, not all of them will stay in Sabi Sands, but some will fill the void soon when old veterans Hairy Belly and Bboys leave us.

Hopefully most will stay unlike other young males who wound up moving into Kruger. Such as the Mhangeni Males, Talamati Males and Southern Male and others.

Curently competition in Sabi Sands is rather poor so it would be smart for them to stay.

Well it was hard for young males to stay in Sabi Sands in period from 2010-2018, because of many strong and big coalitions like Majingilanes, Bboys, Selatis, Matimbas, Charlestons etc. and because of that most young males left Sabi Sands from that period, they didnt have a chance against those coalitions.

But now as @Potato says, competition is very weak in Sabi Sands and i can see a lot of young males staying in Sabi Sands.

Soon we will have plenty of males in Sabi Sands, with those older mentioned ones, to the younger ones who need 2 more years to reach adulthood, like 3 Othawa boys and many of Kambula young males. Fun times ahead.

From the video it seems that Nkuhuma cubs are starting to shown early sings of mange, hope it wont turn into serious problem in future.

Singita update

The lion dynamics on the property have been quite interesting as of late. Each and every night we have heard lions roaring from the camp in all different directions which for us is very exciting!
The Othawa male lion was seen mating with one of the Nsevu pride females which comes as a complete surprise after spending so much time with the Mhangeni pride. It seems as though he is mating with the one female from the Nsevu pride who has been, so far, unsuccessful in bearing her own litter.
With impala rutting season in full force, the Mhangeni pride have been using this opportunity to hunt around Castleton Dam, as this is the perfect central source for food and water.
There were no sightings of the Othawa pride this month as they appear to be spending a lot of time in the west, this includes the Matimba male lion.
The Styx pride have made a few appearances in the northern part of the property and the single Nkuhuma young male has also been viewed making his way through the area just south of our lodges.

Its still a mystery if 1 of this lions is Torchwood male or not, i find that this second lion is in this video :

Its clearly the same Lion, and in the video says its Torchwood male.

But its not this hairy belly Torchwood male who was seen with Fourways pride before, he prob left with 2 Fourways young males into Kruger, or was ousted by this 2 males:

So either people confused this Hairy Belly Torchwood male with this male on the video, or are this 2 missing brothers of this Hairy Helly Torchwood male, or some unknown males, its still a mistery..

That some random facebook page calls this lion Torchwood male does not mean at all that it is indeed Torchwood male.

Yea, i said that he might confuse him with Torchwood male, because both had smudge on their nose, but this is clearly not Hairy Belly Torchwood male.

Also i think its very likely that this 2 males are males that where rumored to hang out with Torchwood pride last year,as Torchwood pride territory is just north of Fourways in Kruger.

Will be interesting to see if this males will push further into MalaMala in future, it seems that they are around 7 yrs old.
