There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Nobody is saying they definitely did it. Just that they cannot be ruled out as the culprit in atleast some of the cubs cases.

I can believe that if actually someone can confirm it, all what are we getting is "speculation" and "rumor".

I will not accept something based of speculation/rumor, just because someone saw PCM growling on cubs and Tsalala acting protective (which is normal when new cubs are introduced to fathers), doesnt mean he slaughter them later.

Cubs didnt die all at once either, first 1 disappeared, Tsalala would avoid him if that was the case and hide rest of the cubs, prob out of PCMs reach.

Neither it confirms that Tsalala alerted and hide the cubs from PCM, she maybe smelled or heard something and got into panic mode, and PCM obviously followed them.

This male was seen with them more times than bigger male, i find it very unlikely that after he was spending and playing with them for numerous time, just decided to kill them.

The relationship between them and that pride was anything but typical and ultimately these are wild animals whos exact behaviors are still very much a mystery.

Just the argument of they wouldnt becouse they used to play so nice together doesnt really hold up as we know some would. But at the same time it would mean what happened is atypical and rare.

Unless Londolozi received footage or an autopsy report or something. We probably will never know enough to either confirm or rule out their involvement.

I also always found unlikely that smaller PCM killed the cubs or some of them since, well, they were seen with these same cubs.

But the report at the time saying it looked like the smaller PCM did it, eyewitness retelling what she saw, and now Londolozi claiming he is probably the culprit after investigating it makes me willing to believe it might have happened.

As I've said earlier, males ( and even females ) have killed cubs of their own prides after already accepting them, so it's not like it'd be unheard of.

Sometimes ppl just post KNP instead of giving an exact location, I remember a year ago I seen a photo of both Talamati boys with KNP tagged as the location but as I went to check exactly where, the photo was actually in Londolozi. Wouldn’t be surprised if they are actually in KNP as FE has went over there a few times, not sure about K12 tho.

I think it's in KNP as the road pretty much screams KNP, maybe who knows. (LOL)
