There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Sorry if this shouldn't be in Sabi, but I think Buffleshoek is in Sabi.  Kruger Male is still around, but without his pride now it would seem.

Would be good to see the Kambula boys settle down with these 4 Imbali Breakaway lionesses. Would be a good starting pride for them. And hopefully the sister reconnects with Tiyelele.

Some injuries to the right side of his face, and swelling around his eye. He mixed it up with one or more of them. How old is he now, 10-11, did he have any cubs with those girls?

His true age is disputed but there are pictures of him as appx 2-3 year old taken in 2012/13 which estimates him being close to 14 now.   There was one Imbali female that had a litter of three but she had since lost them.    I do not believe there are any other cubs w the Pride RN.

I posted a picture few years ago, of him and bro as 2-3 yrs old subs with a pride in 2015 (or 2016).

Cant find it tho, but i remember i posted it (If someone saved it, pls share).

Yes i remember someone posting picture of young subs and claiming that those where Kruger males, from 2012/13, and where sons of Robson males,  but i dont think that was ever confirmed, i think whisker spots didnt match (if i remember correctly).

Wow, then he has done an absolutely amazing job, and kept himself up, very well, too. I had no idea he was that old, that blows my mind.

Worst part of this, is, I don't even think he believes they are his pride, I believe he more just wants some friends right now. He has been on his own, in an injured state, for some time now, for the first time in his life, and lions are very social creatures.

He is not, he is born around 2013, I explained on my previous post.

I saw it after I replied, thanks! Everything else I said still stands, though, he is another lone male who has done incredibly well for himself, though, admittedly, I am not sure how much of his legacy remains.

That must be the post I’m relating to.    It’s in my notes that way.   But I do know there’s been a lot of disagreement regarding their origins

For what we know, he and his brother had many offspring in Fourways and Torchwood prides, but obiviously we dont know how many of them are alive to this days, some definetly are.

Thank you for that!

Speaking of the Fourways and Torchwood prides, are the Mantimahle males dominant over both prides?
