There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Sad news. So apparently Sniptail and Hippo pools after that initial Zebra kill they had when they were relocated, hyenas came and Hippo pools left and mpondo stayed on the kill and they apparently split from this time. Mpondo crossing the luvuvhu river when it was high and ending up in Punda. Hippo pools is confirmed dead, he went North into Zimbabwe and kept going north near local communities and killed livestock and donkeys and other stuff and then the guys tracking him decided to put him down.

And also got an update on the 10 young boyela males, they all split, 2 are collared but the 2 collared randomly split together from the others and these 2 are in an area that recently had lots of poisonings so not great. Some of the others are apparently in Pafuri now. That new male lately is apparently 1 of the 10 the head section ranger at Pafuri thinks anyway.

Damn, they were doomed from the get go. Man dropped them in a known death zone for lions and this is the end result of their actions. A damn shame!

Yes.   This is tragically sad.   And frustrating to see.   It was as if it was always destined to end in tears

Indeed. I hope his body wasn't treated the same way Sniptail Mpondo's allegedly was after he was killed. Can't say I have high hopes for the other lions Brahimlegend posted about either.
