Well, we obiviously didn't get info how they are behaving, but its not like he can overpower 6 females by himself and straight up kill the cub, he prob behaved nicely and because of that gained the trust of Mhangeni to stay with them.
But if Mhangenis become Nwaswitshakas pride, theres 3 other males in a coalition which will be there, and when all of the males will be around, power changes, as males are then "bosses" and that cub will be in serious danger, it would be really weird if then they spare the cub..

The cub was not with the pride when the Ndzhenga male was hanging out with the pride. Tinya & cub were spotted together away from pride.

I think he mistaken for sighting few days ago where 1 Nwaswitshaka was with 5 females without Tinya and cub.
In meanwhile Tinya and cub rejoined, this recent sighting was yesterday and cub was with them aswell as Nwaswitshaka male.
Thats a bad move. Its possible that cub and/or Tinya will be killed if they dont shake off that male. I hope they soon head back north to safer grounds.

I agree, sooner or later the remaining 3 Ndhzengas are going to join the brother. The Manghenis are going to get into big trouble unless they head back home.
Can anyone tell who these new cubs from the sand river pride belong to? She looks very old.

Southern Avocas are the fathers.
Southern avocas sired 4 sand rivers subs and cubs.
They also sired 4 plain camp subs ( 1M 3 F), 4 cubs.
They also sired lone nwaswitshaka girl ( sister of nwaswitshaka males) 3 cubs which may become nwaswitshaka breakaway pride in future.
Earlier in 2019 , the two S. Avocas also tried to reboot SPARTAN pride by siring three cubs with last spartan girl. But alas they didn't make it and spartans got extinct in feb march 2021.
The reality is that the BIGGER AND STRONGER Southern Avocas are in much better condition than their northern younger ( a few months) brothers ( N. Avocas).
They are doing their work quietly without any limelight.
After mantimahle males, Charleston boys, matshapiri boys and Bboys destroying each other's cubs in sand river and plain camp prides, the two S avocas take the charge in late 2018- early 2019 and under their governance all the prides in southern sabi sands are flourishing.
