T-91 (Mirza) has been redesignated as MT-1 now & is awaiting his mates(2) from Ranthambore. 

NTCA had sought a detailed report from the Chief Wildlife Warden after the relocation plan was changed from Selzar Range to Darrah without a prior intimation & put the relocation process on hold. That's been sorted out.

JAIPUR: The lone tiger at Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve (MHTR), MT-1, might soon have a companion. Softening its stand against the state government over relocation of a tiger at MHTR, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) is expected to give a nod to the proposal of shifting another tigress to be called MT-2 this month.

After a change of guard at NTCA, in a recent meeting between the Chief Wildlife Warden (CWLW) GV Reddy and the NTCA members, consent was given for the relocation of a tigress to MTHR from the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Sources said that a detailed project report as sought by the NTCA, has been sent.
"The in-principle approval accorded by the technical committee of this Authority for re-introduction of tigers at the MHTR, which was received earlier, was in abeyance for want of compliance to recommendation made by a Committee constituted by this Authority. However, issues were sorted out during the meeting and we hope that the formal approval will come next week,’’ said a senior officer of the department.

He's doing well enough.

As per an article in local Rajasthani newspaper, apparently the presence of him alone has brought Mukundara's ecosystem back to life!
In the area he's been living in, the forest is now ringing with alarm-calls, after more than four decades of bland tranquil. Reply

The Coalition Males of Ranthambore.

These two brothers now about three years old are still seen together. They are known to share kills, waterholes and hang around each other quite a bit. What is surprising is that T-57 their father is still tolerating their presence in the heart of his territory. Perhaps their unity is what is ensuring their safety. Will this coalition survive the monsoon and beyond? Only time will tell.

Aurangzeb/T57 has the biggest territory in Ranthambore and he rules with an iron fist, looks like he’s slowly trying to push his kids away but they both might be working together to counter him. either way they would have to eventually leave. hopefully we see them again as Adults. these two brothers are special. Tfs! Reply

Good call on her part to run, it didn’t seem like he had any intention to mate. this is why younger tigers are unpredictable and dangerous. a resident male would have tried to mate or probably would have escorted her out.

Aurangzeb aka T57, what a male! I have never been more impressed by him before. it seems like he has gained significant amount of body mass since last year. no wonder, he was able to expand so much. he’s built like a tank and always ready for a war. biggest territory in all of Ranthambore, his presence in 4 zones is a true indication of how powerful of a ruler he truly is.
