There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

This was a late evening siting while we were returning from our last of 8 safaris without spotting s single tiger . It was absolute serendipity which lasted for next 45 mins with ours being only gypsie. Though light was absolutely bad and any photography was at the mercy of ISO.

This is the Prince male tiger I believe

Aaja shaam hone aayi.. mausam ne li angdai..to phir kis baat ki hai ladai..

female tigress SOLO seen inviting male tiger CHOTA BAMERA. One could also see this as being extremely strategic..or rather just being a tiger. She not only gets the company of a superstar male which would help her to successfully raise cubs.. But also gets the vacant and beautiful territory left behind by Late Jr. KANKATI.

Dhamangaon male is back in Kisli again..

& i'm guessing he had a fight with his father T2 this monsoon. I'm not sure, i did a "2+2=4". People are ruling that out just because they weren't hostile to each other....No, they avoided each other to avoid hostilities.
Why else would've he disappeared from his home-range (which he happens to share with his father), only to be back again so soon.

Before the monsoon closure of the park, T2 had all his canines...

& after monsoons this...

Only thing that gets better than sighting a tiger is, sighting a tiger in rain.

Highly recommend viewing this image on computer in full screen mode.

Male tigers lack the grace and beauty of a tigress, but their beastly build is enough to leave you in awe.

31 Oct 2017, Morning safari

Planning to head back to Kanha in december-January. Kanha is too good to be true with Tiger Sightings now. We managed a total of 16 tigers in 6 rides.

The park is beautiful as ever, so are the sightings.

Make use of it.

Incase any of you wish to join me for the december-january photo tour to kanha, shoot me a message right away.

Singing out from Kanha and off to Tadoba next. Will certainly miss the magic meadows of kanha.
