There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Huge Male sighted in Murpar area, Gothangao, Umred. This Male is also called K Mark because he has K above his right eye. He is basically from Pauni range but looks like Jaichand has thrown him out of Pauni. We saw him walking for 15 -20 minutes. This guy is healthy, aggressive and was marking his territory every after 50 meters, I am sure he is going to rule Umred in future.

you're right, that's Samraat. he fathered Tarzan (now in MP side of Pench) and if Varun Thakkar's info is correct, Mukhtar was fathered by Handsome male or Khursapar male. both these guys are the MP equals of BMW and Raiyakassa male in terms of dominance.

The New Dominant Male of Pench . For most part of last 10 years , Prince ruled the tourism area ,strong and bold his authority was seldom challenged  . The only real challenge  came a couple years ago from a cub of collarwali from Pench MP  who gave him a bad cut on his nose but the old fellow held on and pushed that tiger in chorbhauli range where he is now called the mystery male . Things have been moving rather quickly these past few months and again a challenger stood against the old guard , they fought recently and it appears the new young male has successfully ended the old fellows era . On a recent trip i had a chance sighting of the new male who boldly sent marked bamboo van and ambakhori which was once the old males fortress. Dec/2017.

Samraat's reign finally comes to an end, undisputed and undefeated for almost a decade. finally met his match, I hope he will retreat and come back stronger.

"A glimpse of the elusive male P112!
Earlier this year I had shared the encounter of spotting this male in Dhundhua valley. That picture was the male appearing from in between the rocks. Here is another picture of the male when he stood right under us. Then we shared that last look at each other after which he disappeared in a cave.
It is something to see big cats on foot. Especially, when they are undisturbed in their habitat.
