@Pckts :

About #704: I must admit that, by seeing them like in the first photo, tigers are the most impressive extant pure predators on Earth. Fierce and wild determination in the eyes, big forelimb whose muscles are modulating the stripes, intense combination of strength and absolute beauty, what else can I add ? I'm impressed...

Male Tiger from Bandavgarh, November 2017

To me this photo is awesome. TFS
Bandhavghar is always be my favorite from the time when im starting to follow wild bengal tiger and there stories.
I remember that time when young Bamera who was called New Tala Male spread his terrors toward B2 his father and Bokha.
thanks to Roflcopter and TigerLover who initiates the original B2 and other great tiger pictures at old ava.
about this photo, it's very nice to see new genes finally comes to Bandhavghar naturally.
He looks so different than other local Bandhavghar male such as B2 Bokha Bamera Bheem Mangu or Mukunda.
let's hope he manage to spread his genes and hold his ground longer than Rahasy, another tiger who allegedly was born outside Bandhavghar.

This Male, Pannalal has bold and numerous stripe pattern all over his body and face.
We all know tiger stripe is a great camouflage to hide what they trully are from other animals includding us, human.
just for fun, i'm curious how this handsome young tiger would  look like without some of his stripes.

From Vijayarajan Muthu's post in Tigers of Kanha:

New male in Khapa buffer has been sighted in Khapa buffer on a few occasions including a night safari has been identified positively as Balaghat Male.

Apparently, this male was born & raised in Balaghat division & seems to have reached KTR buffer in search of suitable territory. He has also been sighted while in courtship with T-72, the Khapa female. It remains to be seen if he's able to hold his own against the mighty Uma Male though. His physical attributes suggest his being a descendant of parents with lineage of Nagzira, that has connectivity to Balaghat.

While the Balaghat Forest Circle occupies an area, almost thrice the size of the entire Kanha Tiger Reserve, and is spread across 4,997 sq. km within the Kanha-Pench corridor, Nawegaon Nagzira (NNTR) has connectivity with Kanha & Pench in Madhya Pradesh, Tadoba Andhari in Maharashtra & Indravati in Chhattisgarh. NNTR is also connected to important tiger bearing areas like Umred-Karhandla WLS & Bramhapuri division.
The dispersal of Balaghat male to buffer areas of KTR reiterates the great importance of corridors linking different forested areas from biodiversity as well as conservation point of view.
