I'm trying to look for GM's last photos to find a resemblance. It's possible, it has been about 6 months and I don't think we saw him at a near-death state before disappearing..

This photo was posted a year ago in the Majin thread:

It was said to be GM but I can't confirm that. But these wounds were bound to leave thick scars whoever it is.

Rob the Ranger confirmed, but GM healed quite nicely. I doubt it is him on that other picture.

The other morning we found the one Matimba male on a mission and he led us straight to a giraffe carcass.

Hairy belly was eating a buffalo at dulini. His body is looking better but his mane is falling as a signal of oldness. Ginger was resting not so far from him.

You can really tell the loss of his mane in this picture.

The loss of the mane(which is probably the main sign of a male's stance in life) signalling the final chapter of its life. How symbolic.

These two lion brothers had lost each other over the course of the night and this clip shows them reuniting after a morning of roaring to locate each other.

I watched the video. Hairy Belly..what a lion he is! He is in formidable condition. A few months ago he looked like as if he had only a few days left.
And he is roaring again..KING!
