Throwback in Ngala Private Game Reserve June 2014! The untidiest lion we’ve ever seen. This is one of the Phelwane males taking a pause from mating with a Skorro lioness to have a snack of zebra. HB is in good shape and keeping up with the pride. Junior and the Mini Gingers are coming along well with the later showing some mane.

I have to say that i was not sure that they would make it after Gingers death, but HB doing great job protecting them, and Junior now can contribute in that segment too.. |
