The Matimba male lion readies himself for an evening of territorial patrol.
For the past week, the cold winters nights have been dominated by lions roaring. With three younger males moving into the outskirts of his territory, the Matimba has been on full alert. Just watched that video, he is certainly doing well apart from his back right leg. Dark mane avoca is a large lion too,he will be around hb size now? Is hb 15 now? Seen some saying 13,some saying 14 and some say 15

I do not think he is any smaller in terms of weight and heigh than when he was in his prime. With age grows tendency to accumulate body fat and decreases tendecy do building muscle mass so for sure he won't be as strong and agile as he was couple of years ago, but I do not think he is smaller than he was years ago. "HB and Junior (Junior is bigger than Othawa lionesses, and HB still dwarfs him) " Junior is still in age of biggest growing. I am looking foreward to see how he will look in compare to HB when he will be 3 or 3 and half years old. I also look foreward to see how youngest males in the pride will grow. I believe they will be beastly and will match HB is body size. I hope HB will live long enough so we can see that. Yes, i was talking about rn, Junior is very big for his age, sure he will grown more. 
Hairy Belly Matimba turned 15 years old in May of this year. Savanna and idube rangers have said it many times in their videos.
