There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Hello, I hope this post is going to be in the right place; I apologize for the late response. I am very sorry for misspeaking about Wildfact in.a comment on Quora, I meant to say Wildanimal warfare, and will be deleting the old comment.  I should not have said all sites are the same , they are not. You have been very respectful.to me here. I wish I had more time to.contribute. My frustration when I made that comment was because of a few people who.seem to be on every site, just rabid tiger fanatics who wont take anything but what they want to hear. I.really have little interest in tiger vs lion.  I am a real person, a trainer who still interacts with cats at my former mentors sanctuary , where there are 3 tigers left. I do not own my own cats anymore.  But I do understand the doubts that some may have , or disappointment because of the comment, it.seems my credibility as a trainer is being questioned because of that as well.  That is unfortunate.  I dont have a lot of time or experience with social media, and again, apologize for the comment on quora. Thanks for your time on this good site, best of luck

I am also a bit confused as to what could make anyone question my accounts as a trainer, I  been asked my opinion, answered honestly but not as completely as i would like, I am very busy and wish I had more time to contribute. I have related my actual experiences. Again  I am sorry I confused Wildfact with another site in.a comment. But is it true that now here my credibility is being questioned because of that, and because I answered as diplomatically as I could in the tiger vs lion debate when I was asked? I am a bit baffled.  I loathe lion vs tiger debates. There is never a clear winner, as I have stated over and over . Its ridicuous- no trainer wants fights. And
I never choose to debate any " fanboys" rather than contribue on this site. I respect the tone and people on this site, you are all very knowledgable and interested in the important topics.  I really do wish you the best, even though I.am disappointed to read the doubts there are about me and regret that a comment on quora led to such doubts. I feel we missed a great opportunity to share but maybe we can try another time  in the future when things have been cleared up.  Again, I meant no offence to Wildfact, and will delete the comment. My problems were with a commenter on Wildanimal warfare who questioned my credibility and my mentors.  I am fiercely protective of their privacy and reputations, which I am sure you all can understand. Thanks for reading, I know this is a bit long and wandering. I wish I had seen this thread sooner.

@Kathlee111 : don't be sorry, there all always some fools supposedly animals lover, but rather a kind of supremacist who are able and ready to distort the reality in order to claim the superiority of the beast they pretend to cherish particularly. These guys infest all the discussion forums so as to proclaim their "verity". Fundamentalists.

Nature is so much more beautiful than that ! It is a real pity that you crossed one of them. Always when we are speaking about lions and tigers, ineluctably one of them breaks into the debate.

There are quite many internet forums in which animals feature. In general, there are 2 groups: forums populated by posters interested in good information (a) and forums populated by posters interested in something very different (b). Based on what I read (referring to your posts in the animal trainers thread), I'd say you like good information.

More often than not, it takes time to find your way. Not seldom, it's rough and rocky. Bad experiences are have disadvantages, but the advantage is you quickly learn to distinguish between good information and something different.

As to the misunderstanding and the confusion that followed: your explanation is appreciated and your apology is accepted. Consider it a thing of the past.

As to the follow-up. My guess is you have a lot to say. The proposal is to continue in the trainer thread, as that one was created for big cat trainers and those interested in their experiences. You could start with (one of) the questions I have, but you can also post about something you're interested in. Some of your posts in that department in particular are great, so do as you please.

Welcome come back on behalf of all Kathlee,

Peter.

Misunderstandings happen, that is nothing new. Of course that, what you wrote about wildfact, made people to make questions. I think that it is natural when seeing odd statements. You would do the same if you would see some statements demeaning you and coming "out of nowhere" surprising everyone. Your statements about wildfact were like that, it was difficult to understand why you wrote in that way, when no-one here couldn´t see any reason for it, what you wrote.

You now explained situation and it is good. I hope that you understand also how that kind of writing leads to questions and criticism. I hope too, that table is now cleared and in future communication is more functional. Discussions with animal fanatics are waste of time, no matter are they tiger or lion fanatics or something else. Hopefully you now feel comfortable to post and discuss here. If some "fanboys" appear and can´t behave, moderators will handle those situations.
