Other male lion coalitions from Masai Mara

Four of the Bila Shaka males approached the Marsh Pride, who had just taken down a buffalo. Logol and Half-Tail escorted the pride to safety, then returned to keep an eye on the intruders. A little back and forth ensues, but no serious conflict. Surprising how Logol and HT would return to confront 4 males.

Morani still doing well despite his old age and lack of some teeth. Him and his son stole a baby hippo kill from the River Pride.

Young Rongai male getting to eat while Oloimina keeps the hyenas away from the kill. The pride males definitely have a soft spot for the young fella.

It is great to witness this unfold as the BRB's develop such a great bond with this 1 cub/sub! Hope it lasts. BRB's prove to be one of the bests Dads out there!

From what I could find I believe he's in the main reserve (Maasai Mara National Reserve) possibly up around the Olare Orok Conservancy. If correct, he should be on the eastern or right hand side of the Salas males territory on the map. If I hear differently I'll update the post.
