I'm not so sure about that.  Looks like they let him live, and just beat him up several times....to the point where he is now probably lame.  His handicap will only worsen with age, unfortunately.  I think they left him alone and didn't kill him outright because they didn't see a big threat from him.

But yea, Skorro is no pushover.  He might have gotten a certain advantage in some of the encounters, hence why they also didn't want to potentially risk any injury from taking one male out when they could merely injure him.
I mean go look at the video he almost gets Makunga by the face Makunga gets him off his face he backs off and then his brother backs off and they stop and start roaring

While I have no idea exactly why they stopped attacking Skorro Jr, he for sure got on Makunga's face, and as soon as Makunga got him off, the attack stopped right then. Was because I of the resistance he was putting up, I have no idea, but that is for sure how things unfolded. I even commented on it at the time.

Yeah and I just watched it again the smaller plains camp male was trying but skorro was using everything he had literally scratching and clawing and biting all and all I think he just put up too much of a fight and they sent their message to him I mean if they wanted too they could’ve killed him but they definitely would have some nasty injuries as well if but I am only telling it how I see it

Tumbela is a very strong male, don't forget he was able to chase off NK & Nhenha at the same time when he was dominant, and straight up defeated a bigger male ( Nhenha ) in a fight.

He also dominated NK every time they met, including saving his daughters from him and Ximhungwe, and that's with his limp, and despite thr fact NK is bigger and is always in godly conditions, while Tumbela is rarely seen in prime shape.

Also back when Limper wasn't a total walking corpse, the PCM chasing Nhenha/NK to the West, heard the Tumbelas and Othawas roaring and stopped listening, they didn't reply, and returned to Singita.

If he had a healthy brother I doubt Nhenha/NK or even the PCM would have been able to oust him.

If he is able to properly bond with NK ( big if ) they might become a decent coalition.

Enough to challenge Sabi Sands duos? No, but they might find success somewhere else...

Bigger problem is that NK would probably never be willing to support him 2v2, at least not as nomads, maybe if they become dominant somehwere for some good 6 months to a year, NK will get a huge confidence boost. He's a big a strong male who has survived beatings from many other lions, he has strength, just lacks confidence.

I think Skorro has bigger confidence issues than Nym.
Afteral, while Nym was befriending half the reserve, he spend his time hiding in the west. It wasnt until joining Nym again he had the confidence of even leaving western sector.

And sure, he had some early victories against Nhenha. But that was years ago. So not really saying much about Skorro today.

They might only kill lionesses if the females fight way too hard to defend cubs.

PCM are hyper aggressive and don't tolerate anybody ( not named Tumbela, weirdly enough ), I remember when they were taking over thr Ximhungwe pride, the Othawa Breakaway was in estrus, she lightly slapped the smaller PCM and got chased at full speed by the larger male, for who knows how many km. What other male does something like this? Most wouldn't even react, the smaller male who was slapped barely cared.

Some other males are very tolerant though, Ndhzengas were 4, the Kambulas played a lot of games with them, and attacked them to protect the subs and cubs, still none got killed, in fact I don't remember they even seriously attacking any of the females.

And then there's the Gijimas. They accepted 2yo Southern subs and tolerated the 2,5yo Styx subs ( only chasing the male sub, but never attacked or even pressured the females ), even nomadic PCYM killed a Styx sub, but Gijimas never even attacked any.

PCM's aggression towards females is off the charts.

The sighting of the bigger male chasing the Othawa BA girl also came to my mind. I wonder if something similar happened with Chela? She slapped or swiped at one of the males, and the PC male flipped out. Only unlike Gingerella, she was unable to get away. Yeah usually males wouldn't attack females in eustrus, as that's the whole point of false eustrus as a defence mechanism. But this male seems to take it to the extremes. Its a fine line between males being strong and aggressive enough to defend a territory and pride, and being overly aggressive.

But wasn't it believed that the Gijimas killed a couple of the Styx male subs? They were definitely seen going after them a couple of times, I remember seeing footage of it.

Only male left from the Thanda Impi's Nharu offspring. He's a survivor for sure.

Real shame about Chela, after seeing her only surviving son, I was hoping she’d have a few more litters that’d turn out just as impressive. Truly just want a coalition to bring stability back to Northern Sabi Sands.

One of Amber Eyes' daughters (notch in right ear, missing lower left canine) on WildEarth yesterday afternoon. Cedric said her tracks led directly away from the confrontation sight where Chela died. Cedric commented that she looked sad, suggesting because Chela was the one that raised her, with Amber eyes leaving the pride while she was still a sub.

In the third screenshot she's directly following K4's path where he headed south yesterday morning.

The lioness seen with the PC males (who have now gone west again) was Ridge Nose's daughter (BBoy daughter). The rest of the pride are on Londolozi with the Talamati male. Cedric also confirmed that it was Tattered Ear that died a few weeks ago, and said the remaining lionesses are Ridge Nose and Purple Eye's daughters (and Amber Eyes' other daughter).

There should be 4 adult females still alive.

2 Bboys daughters (2016) and 2 N.Avocas daughters (2019/20).

This is still so crushing.  So, are the Nkhuma girls scattered now?  She's following K4's tracks.  Is it possible she ends up down with them?  I have to assume K4 is heading for his brothers.  How will sister take a rogue lioness.

OK.. I am firmly on the HATE Plains Camp Males train now.

So, only one of Amber Eye's daughters is still alive?  How many subs?  That one sub male, how's he doing?

I think there were only 2 or 3 girls that were seen with the PCM's.  Nobody knows about the others at this point.

This is so awful right now.  My theory on this since yesterday has been that they all lined up like they did when Khanya showed up a few weeks ago, and the PCM just weren't having it and went after Chela.  Maybe she was trying to protect the young male.  Who knows.
