Mhangeni pride two days ago. All three lionesses and six cubs. Looks like the injured male made a full recovery, at least enough to keep up with the pride.

Only 4 Mhangenis youngsters were seen today, as only one Monwana male was seen with the pride I’ll assume they just wasn’t spotted as 3 females should be able to hold off one 3.5 year old male. With all these males around tho, it’s not looking great for them and it’s crazy they still hopefully have 6 left in the first place after PCMs abandoned them.

Casualties aside, I really hope the Monwana boys take over the Mangheni pride and stabilize the territory.

Description of the Post:
3 Monwana ym and Mhangheni Pride

Singita

The 2 Monwana Males watch as the Pride moves off off under the watchful and protective gaze of the 3rd Monwana male that has been with them for a few weeks now and he follows them shortly.
The 4th Monwana male was last seen with his 2 brothers on a buffalo kill that the PCM chased them from so hopefully he should join his brothers soon.
Thank you Mariela Rassouli

Quite interesting, looks like Mhangenis are already comfortable with 1 Monwana who was with them before, and are only alerted towards other 2.

Although not sure how this can last pretty much in PCMs territory, who already chased them from a kill and 1 got separated.
