Thats oldest Birmingham Breakaway young male, sired by Avoca/Giraffes.

Speaking of Giraffes, since I have been out of the loop for a bit, did we ever happen to hear anymore about Giraffe male, or is the last sighting literally the one when he crossed the cut fence onto that private property with some of the Black Dam females?

Anytime, Soon I'll post a recent update of the dead male lion. I was been working on the ID with James (that work in Timbavati) and we're almost 99% sure of who's

But how do you even try ID him if the corpse of dead lion was mostly eaten by hyenas making it impossible to ID per guide's words?

Still exist some ways to ID the carcass. There are some scars around

Why don't you just share the photos on which you base your ID process on that forum?

When the light catches him at the right angle, the opaque eye of the Mapoza Male #lion is obviously still fairly translucent, meaning he still has vision, although presumably blurred from this eye.

Becoming more dominant in the southern portions of the reserve here @royalmalewane at present, he is providing regular sighting for the guests on their #wildlife photographic #safaris.

Some lion action and some possible changes in the near future. The young Giraffe male was chased of by the Hercules Male and he settled with some of the Giraffe pride lionesses. Also saw the Avova pride. Looked like the lion prides walked into each other during the night and Avoca pride put some distance between them and the males.
