There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Most likely they will move out in search for some calm place, vacat zone to buy their time untill they will be ready to compete with adult males. Currently in Timbavati there are hardly such zones, there are plenty of adult males around so Timbavati doesn't look like a good spot for sub adults males to live nomadic life at all and therefore I believe it is very likely those subadults will at one point leave Timbavati behind, never to return. I do not think they will stick around and join a competition.

A young #lioness from the Avoca Pride of #lions having a late afternoon drink a few days ago on a #wildlife photographic #safari here at @royalmalewane

This #lion pride is becoming quite a regular feature, and it’s a matter of time before the Torchwood and YBM coalition males follow the pride deep into the central and southern parts of Thornybush and add some spice to pride dynamics.

A Timbavati update: the last Ross lioness was seen this morning with another lioness. Possibly from the Hercules pride.
