Othawa pride and Tumbela males continue to thrive. After finishing a Wildebeest yesterday they were able to kill a buffalo bull today.

I hope Limper gets to take advantage of these two meals so that he can recover.

Yes, I absolutely agree. That latest kill is huge, plenty for 5 adults and 6 cubs, so hopefully Limper has managed to have a decent meal out of it.
And hopefully Skorro jr is showing incredible compassion that not often documented in male lions when it comes to Limper because he needs his remaining male companion to be healthy for support with defending their territory and pride.

A beautiful portrait of Dark Mane and one of Talamati's subadult males. They clearly have a great affection for each other.

While it's great to see him continue to court the same female that he mated with last weekend, he also needs to court other females from the same pride to win them over as a step to take over Mhangeni Pride. You know, that pride has 6 females, fierce females to accept him. He deserves to become a King. Right time, right age.

A Beautiful family portrait of Auntie Othawa and Othawa's 6 cubs. They clearly have respect for her by being well behaved around her!

And that subadult is also only slightly shorter then DM, and he is only 3 years old, so he will become a pretty big lion in the future, maybe surpassing DM’s size
