Avoca boys had a meet up on little gowrie last night, dark mane was back on Djuma this morning. Tristan described it as a confrontation, guessing Dark Mane showed submission and then they separated

Footage of Nkuhuma YM mating with Mhangeni lioness.  It is interesting to see this lioness is Big Boy Mhangeni sister, who was once Nkuhuma’s aspiring partner.

This makes me so sad and disappointed. The Nkuhuma and Styx males had so much potential. Now this boy is alone again. Nature just isn't on his side.

Its definitely better for him to become dominant male even if he is alone, i doubt he would find partners current in Sabi Sands..

These are good news without any doubt. Hopefully he will stick with the Mangheni pride, The Mangheni females didn't showed aggression, from the other side goes the same as well which is quite interesting since they are aggressive and tough lionesses.

NK and Styx are following and fighting Mhangenis for quite some time now, so they kinda become familiar with them/him at this point.

I hope they accepted him, just as they did with Othawa male, these girls are definetly tought and in my opinion, currently the strongest pride in Sabi Sands.

The Othawa male legacy might live on, because if NK male does take over, he most likely wont kill the cubs because at least 4/6 lionesses are in œstrus right now, so he probably won't care about the cubs as he will be busy mating

It may just be some lionesses that gotten into estrus and broke away from the pride for a bit to mate.

I would not say that they have accepted him until he is seen hanging out with the core pride.
Keep in mind that this is the same pride that killed Sym not that long ago.
