We discuss it already here, guide confused Scrapper and Mfumo, as he said that first one disapeared and that second one died from poison, which is not true as Scrapper didnt disapear, yet Mfumo did.

Guide said that first lion dissapeared quite soon after arrival and he does not know exact circumstances which makes sence for Scrapper as he decline and died in arena to the north from Mala Mala.

Scrappers body was found, he died without any wounds (theres was rumors about buffalo injury but thats was wrong) so they suspect on snake bite as he lost condition rapidly.

Mfumos body was never found so how they know that he died from poison, he was last seen by MalaMala guides, and there was no report from MalaMala on his death.

He mistaken these 2 for one another, guides can be wrong too,he confuse their deaths.

Lot of this guides are not lion experts or historyians.

Young members of the Sand River breakeaway pride seen at south MalaMala :

After 5Th Mantimahle abandon Sand River pride, 5 young females and 3 young males split from their 2 mothers which are now with 2 S. Avocas.

They where seen all over the place and mostly in Kruger.

In this sighting where atleast 2 young females and 2 young males, and 1 of the male it seems to be one that was with Southern Pride lionesses in Sabi Sabi.

They will prob continue their nomadic lives until young male leaves the pride and then they will find males to mate with.

It seems to be some disease, not just food, but they don't know which one. They said they wanted to do some tests for it.
