Also, on a different subject, the second Styx male is alive and well, both of them got chased away by the Birmingham males, who didn't pay any attention to the herd of buffalos, their intent was to hunt down the Styx males, but they got away. The info is from Nkorho Rangers.

One of the Talamati males had a buffalo kill in malamala this morning and had an epic interaction with 20+ hyenas over the kill.

"We came over a rise in the deep south-west one morning, on a road that is almost never driven, at pretty much the farthest point on the map from the Londolozi camps, and there were the three Talamati males on a buffalo kill. The Toulon male was found dead today. Im finding details and will tell asap
The 5 Mantimahle males attacked one of the Toulon males(Dominant Toulon) yesterday. He had spinal injuries and deep cuts to his body. Rangers found his body in Lion Sands KNP. I will post more updates once i get them. Sad news.

Early this afternoon I returned to the airport to to a pick-up and spoke to some of the Lion-Sand guides, and was told that the roaring I heard this morning was actually these 5 males fighting one of the Toulon males (Sand-river pride males). They nearly killed him and left him, where he is suffering badly from injuries... These 5 beautiful males actually traveled some distance in the last couple of days as I saw them about 4days ago near Jones's dam on the S36. "Over the weekend, the three sub-adult Talamati males killed 2 zebra and fed on both kills for most of the day. This is one of the sub-adult Talamati males smothered in the remnants of his meal! They weren't there but in their place were two of the Charleston's males, trying to strip what was left of the carcass. I believe humans should intervene and help animals no matter how the injury has been inflicted.
