What a magnificent specimen! Field guide Anthony Hattingh captured this shot of the Toulon male resting in the dry river bed of the Sand River

Beautiful pic Gamiz, but i think that is an old shot of Dominant Toulon.

From Mala Mala Game Reserve:
"The Sand River pride and the Toulon male treated us to an adrenaline filled sighting as we watched them bring down 2 buffalo in Charleston." This is a short video.

Ngala, the pic is recent, from two days ago, so I think Gamiz is right.

I'm not entirely convinced. Shy Toulon have different pinching on his ear. Comparison with Shy Toulon.

Lion Sands FB page often put no pictures of the moment such as this of Dominant Toulon, published 15 days after he was killed.

Shy Toulon, the last remained Toulon male, with the Sand River pride at Kirkman's Kamp, credits to Eckson Sithole.

Now he is the pride male of the Sand River pride which consist in 3 adult females, 2 sub adult males and 3 sub adult females. Few days ago they killed two buffalo (short video at #296 in this thread).

2 Young, unknown male Lions seen on Nkorho yesterday. They came past our waterhole during the early hours of the morning and then were found on on drive way later on. They seemed to be quite nervous at times and we followed them for a while before they crossed south over our boundary. Credits to Karin van der Merwe.

These are the Tsalala young males, sons of the Majingilane. The third male is with the tailess Tsalala female, I don't know why they're separated, maybe in a hunt.
