The Club footed Ndhzenga male, one of the subadult males from the Kambula pride and the two lionesses with two cubs scuffle over a Buffalo kill. Kambula male showed that he has no fear in the adult male and is nearly the same size as him.

7 buffaloes where taken today in northern Sabi Sands, 5 by Talamati breakaways, 1 by NK subs and 1 by NK cubs group females, although we are sad about buffaloes injuring DM, they are also animals and living beings who need to defend themselves, otherwise they will become food for lions :

Yes, 5 buffaloes killed in 1 day is extremely impressive. They will have their bellies full for a long time, unless their kills all get stolen.

Yes, but prob not all of them where adults.

I remember report that Bboys took down 7 ( or 9, cant remember exactly) buffaloes in 1 day, there is also video of them taking 4 buffaloes during 1 hunt.

Young Bboys where prob the greatest buffalo hunters in these lands in recent times.

Wow! Bboys sure were great buffalo hunters. Can you please post the video you mentioned? I would love to see how they managed to do it.

I also believe Toulons were known as expert buffalo hunters. They rareley failed a hunt, and were comparable to young Bboys in buffalo hunting.

So especially if the PC Males just quickly mate with them and then bugger off back to the mangheni or Nkuhuma breakaway, it might work. Fingers crossed.

Also apparently one of the Nkuhuma breakaway lionesses hasn't been seen in ages. Anyone know anything about that?

Maybe this could explain where the other female is. Small cubs were seen in Sept.

Nop, they are massive coalition, 8 young males and 1 older (Dreadlocks DeLaporte), but looks like they are recently spliting into 5 + 3 groups.  3 of them actually might be those who escaped Kruger Park recently.

These guys will be a problem for territorial coalitions around Skukuza in near future, if they stay here.

Hello,

Is the DeLaporte the name of the Tsalala male lion, brother to the Tsalala queen and uncle to the last Tsalala lioness?

Thanks
