That was in 2017, HB was nomad at that time.

@Mapogo Son that happened in 2017, not 2015.

HB had just been ousted by Matshipiri males and was a nomad, he also had a limp in one of his hindlimbs, while his nephew was territorial, in his prime and in his own territoty.

Even the Bboys cubs approached HB and fed with him without him attacking them.

@Mapokser That's the difference from Mapogo, even traumatizing "Mapogo" would attack them to kill them, they would never tolerate such an attitude towards themselves

Tumbela spotted again, still looking frail but not as much as he was just a week or two ago. Captions says he’s been spending time with the Mhangeni Pride and has been for the last week. Nkuhuma Male left him in Londolozi and joined up with Khanya, they’ve both been spotted in Lion Sands.

How many different coalition partners/companions has Nkuhuma Male had now? It’s been mentioned previously but he must be the friendliest lion in existence lol. Big Boy Mhangeni, Styx Male, Nhenha, Tumbela Male, Skorro Male, Tumbela again and now it seems he’s joined up with Khanya. You can only wonder how different things could have been for him had the Styx Male survived as they were looking like a promising coalition at the time and even had the edge over the younger PC Males.

Its just Sym, Nhenha and perhaps Tumbella.
Big Boy Mangheni and Nym merely happen to be in the same pride and for the others the interactions were far to brief to be considered coalitions.

If Sym didnt die. The two would probably have taken over western sector, beginning with the Mangheni and ximhungwes, followed by the Othawas. The PCmales were at the time pushed east by the duo, so they would have continued focusing on the Nkuhumas and pushing out the fragmented Avocas from that pride..

After that it gets a bit murky. The avocas could reunite under the pressure. But as they were focusing more on the Talamatis and the Kambulas. They likely would have moved south putting pressure on the BBoys rather than confront the PCmales. If the avocas now manage to push out the aging BBoys. One would then have to wonder wheter not the N'was would still have invaded. If they did, things in the central and south would largely stay the same as it is now. But if they decide against it. The Gijima invasion would have likely failed. So now has to wonder whether or not the Gijimas would have skipped the south and end up in the north or western sector aswell.

Events like the Othawa massacre and the decline of the Nwas wouldnt have happened, or atleast not as dramatic. While the BBoys may have been worse off. .

But Uchronies, while fun are ultimately just educated guesses.
Some other lion could have ended up in a spot where he or she wasnt in our timeline. Resulting in another death or survival that would have drastically changed things.

I didn’t see this so I posted this in Tumbela thread. I think it’s more appropriate there

Many more rough mornings ahead, still, for this male, unfortunately. I just hope he improves soon.

I am not sure the downfall of the BBoys could have been much worse, than what it was.

Nhenha had the luck that he could join up with Nym for a while and settle in western sector. This door would be closed in this scenario so they would likely end up like the southern Avocas now.
This also changes the timeline for the Kambulas regarding the next take over. Giving the current Kambula youngsters less time to prepare.

So are the pcm the fathers or jr's skorro?

Hopefully at least two of them are females and more hopefully that at least one of the two survives to adulthood and helps her mother rebuild their pride. But we all know how difficult it is in the wild especially for a single lioness.
