Where is the Dark Mane Avoca? Was he not dominant over the Talamati pride?
Dark Mane is in the south in Djuma/Arathusa, these females are with the new male recently, although they do rejoin up with the pride

I will be very intresting to see how those two would match up against each others if S8 male would decide to push further south for takeover of Talamati pride.

“Just saw Nkuhma male not not for from where we left him yesterday. The male he was with turns out not to be the plains camp male but a male non of the rangers have seen before. There were tracks of them walking together last night and they are possible close to each other now maybe forming a coallition”

I think the misidentification thing is more regarding wheter or not its the Ximhungwe or Tsalala lioness mating with a Tumbella. Not which Tumbella it is. But I dont think Diff is going to confuse a lioness he knows is there and mating with the Tumbellas with one that hasnt been in the region for a while now.
As for the Avocas. As they push south, they will leave the north wide open for a takeover.
Though if their respective prides are getting into estrus again its more likely they are going to stay home for now.
