There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Interesting times ahead. The Ntsevu young males are a force to be reckoned with.

The Southern Pride lioness, along with her two cubs and one of the N’waswishaka males called Ubuso, were found on a large kudu kill. They engorged themselves and then lay down to rest not far from the carcass. 23/08/2021

Note: It appears that Ubuso has a fresh cut just under his left eye, probably from that hunting.

Caught up with the Virgin Sofa Safari today, Ximungwe Female was still mating with Limper
unfortunately couldn't watch live so wasn't able to ask any questions about her daughter, but from what they said it seems they believe she's still around

They mentioned Ximungwe female is in the North west of the western sector

Hmm, if Ximhungwe female is back in estrus, then im worried for her cub, cub is 1.5 yrs old.. I dont think its possible for her to be back in estrus already if the cub is still alive..

According to Diff, her cub was seen yesterday close by and she looked well, which is a relief. Maybe it's her way of distracting Limper from coming near to her cub.

Two of the Styx lionesses and their seven cubs in the early hours of the morning. After the cubs were done suckling and bonding with their mothers, they soon got up and made their way to an area with a bit more shade.

It would be great if they link together again, as both lost coalition partners recently (no news on his partner from Manyeleti, it looks like they got separated).

Dunno. If they both lost their partner, especially if it was to other lions, they may be to distrusting towards each other to give it a try. Let alone trust each other to have their backs in a fight.

Singita and the region is becoming a bit overrun by new coalitions though.
It would be good if a strong coalition took hold there to curb their numbers a bit so the Mhangeni has a it a bit easier.

The Torchwood Pride came down to the pan this evening and brought three new cubs.

@Tonpa I'm unable to figure out where to see that older cub on these slides. I can see the younger one, so can you point out where is the older cub?
