Its Dark Mane Plains Camp male with apperantly Kambula female.. Looks like Plains Camps are also interested in this area and Kambula pride, this situation between Avocas and Bboys just got that more interesting.

The male doesn't look beaten up at all. I wonder then what was relation of Safari Legend about. Could it be that he miss ID young males with Skyx/Nkuchuma or some Kambula males or perhaps he just overestimated size of PC males injurys.

Guide also said it is quite close to the arena where Blondie killed Kambula cubs so it seems PC boys are not too scared of Avocas either.

Yeah not sure, they did say one male was worse then the other, and we only had one male at the sighting here, the other male might be laying low somewhere.

We seen very little of him, but from what we seen, and with Nhenha getting older and OM gone, in my opinion this guy is one of the most impressive males in Sabi Sands atm.

Dont think they mistaken them, as they where seen on their instagram day before that info of being injured..

I think they overestimated injuries, also they said they "think" they had a fight with N. Avocas, but would they still be here then and with female on top of that if they got beaten that hard? Doubt it.

Maybe they had a scrap with N. Avocas (or Kambula females, or maybe even Bboys) but it was not that serious, this male doesnt have a scratch on his face or body..

Looks like N. Avocas are now completely dominant around MalaMala Main Camp, Blondie yesterday morning scent marking, roaring and alert near Camp:

It looks like Bboys will not respond and will forfeit this territory there and few females, in fact they dont have power to do so with Tinyo being in bad condition.. I expect them to join subadults with few females and hang with them further south, but theres currently no recent info on where they are atm.

Will be interesting to see what will happen next, especially as 2 young Plains Camps are moving into mix.
