Bheem aka Tarun is incredible. His appearance with those intense eyes, and his physical build is simply amazing. looking at his little mane and massive shoulder sometimes he reminds me of the animation siberian tiger from the korean movie The Tiger: An Old Hunter's Tale.

to me, i consider him and Jai as the most handsome India's tigers in recent time.

Definitely a nice tiger, I'm not so sure though his shoulders are that big, or at least they don't look that big.  I was in a debate with some guys on youtube they told me about this site, do any of you guys have data that proves the tiger is bigger than the lion?  I'm not saying it isn't because from what Ive seen around it seems like most people consider it larger, but not 100% sure about the weights.  I was talking to a pretty informed youtube poster, and he said out of the scientific records only, they do not conclude that the tiger is heavier.  So I guess if you're counting scientific weights only, the weight of the tiger is not as big as it has been believed to be by other claims, or perhaps old hunters. Anyways it was an interesting debate on there.

Ustaad is very sick, he hasn't been eating and has actually been sick since he was brought to the zoo. Obviously the amount of stress he went through is too much.

You know what the worst thing is, they say that he weighed over 215kg but they don't give an exact number, correct? We know he weighed 240kg when 3.5 and said to be 250kg when originally captured, so it really could be quite a bit of weight lost, and the 15kg estimate could be used to make it seem not as bad, but its obviously very drastic.
Not to mention how they tried to claim he was healthy initially and obviously that has never been the case. (see below)

I agree, Bheem and Jai are both magnificient. I would also throw in Bokha and Jobhi to the list.

He's a dense cat for sure. All the Pench males are thick, they're may favorites right now followed closely by Bandhavgarh males.

Could not have agreed more with @Pckts I'm so in love with Pench tigers atm, sure some of the biggest arround. And I was wondering if any of you guys could give me any info on this heavy weight? He looks huge! One of the most impressive cats I've seen.

He's Tarzan, he's not as seen but his photos show him to be a huge fellow. Keeping my fingers crossed I get to see him when I'm there.

I've seen a lot of debates over the years regarding size, I think most people here knows really well that I'm sort of a lion fanatic and that's true, and I have several times thought the same thing you just asked, is really the tiger bigger... The answer is YES they are! Not only regarding historical or present weights, but you can see it with you're own eye's. Every time I watch a lot of lion videos and start to think maybe.. All it takes is too find some videos of huge male tigers and the answer is no.. The tiger is the biggest cat no doubt! Still I think there's a lot of people who discredit lions ability to reach massive sizes and that's sad! I have seen huge lions, actually the biggest cat's I've seen both in the wild and in captivity are big (250 kg+)male lions, but that doesn't change the fact that huge Pench, Terrai or Assam male tigers are bigger.

Both cats are huge and so immensely powerful that they deserve everyone's full admiration. And this is also why the debate about size, strength and fighting ability is fierce on forums arround, and why so much praise for you're favorite and so much negativity is being said about the cat you like the least. Simply because you see how strong both are and you try to make one look strong and the other one weaker. I love both cats with all my hart and I respect them immensely! I have always had a sweet spot for the lion, but that doesn't change that the tiger is the bigger animal.

Edit: Nvm, that's Tarzan, the video changed back to the original, weird. He's a huge boy, between him, Raiyakassi, BMW and Prince, pench has some huge boys and even collarwali is a huge looking female.
I leave for Tadoba,Pench and Kahna on April 29th and I should start my first safari in tadoba on may 2nd I believe. If I'm lucky enough to spot some tigers you bet I'll take some photos. I'm going to have my gf take videos, that's my one regret in Africa that I wasn't able to take videos, but my friend managed to get a few good ones so I got lucky.
