To warm up a morning you need sunshine, especially if it comes in the form of a tiger walking down the road toward you. This young adult male was coming down the road between Kanha Meadow and Salghat through an area better known as Ghora Chaapar. Not fully confirmed on identity, but he is suspected to be the recently indepedent cub of either the Mundi Daadar Female or The Umarpaani Female. He was seen later in the morning by a few other jeeps after 10:00 hrs on route 9 with another male also in the same area (possibly a sibling).

Minh Ha

Uma male crossing at Minkur, Feb 2015, shot by Rajan Gurung. During his time in Mukki, he has taken 3 males down to date. The first victim was Thin Stripe back in summer 14, followed by Kingfisher in Oct and recently Bhima was found heavily injured in his range (would have died if not taken in). He's now quickly taking over territories in Nao Pathra area as well, a natural move after he disposed of the previous ruler Kingfisher. A true killer, just like his father Munna.

This is current sensation of internet. This male tiger charges on tourist elephant. According to sources he is Rajbhera male tiger from  Bandhavgarh national park, India.

What a intense scene.

Apparently he's developed a bit of a reputation for this

As he grows and gets more confident with the elephants he should calm down, but he may just be one of those "charger" types.
Never know...

Between the second and last pic seems to be a much longer age difference than what June to now would be. Is it the same male?

From what I gather, I think they are from two different litters. The first litter male is who I'm guessing is the culprit.

From the looks of him, I'd guess him to be around the 3-4 year mark.

Vasudevan Parthasarathy
He did send shivers down our spine when he looked at us and sounded a big roar...We were just 5 feet away from this majestic animal when he decided to give us a ferocious stare and a snarl...was indeed a gripping moment....

Sumit Ghosh Rajbehra male cub.

What a youngster he is, Bandhavgarh has some serious competition brewing right now, it should be an interesting season I think. Although this guy is not old enough yet but he should be a tiger to remember in the future.

Edit: I just got confirmation that is indeed, the same sub adult as in the video.

I asked if it was the same tiger from video and mistakenly mentioned the mahout as a tourist.
His response below

Vasudevan Parthasarathy there were no tourists in the video which is going viral..the elephant and the mahot are doing their job of tracking the tigers in the wild and doing a great job...

Minh Ha‎

Munna mating with Uma in Dec 2011 at Bison; both were in their prime back then, Uma was 7 and Munna, being born late 2001, about 10. Note the size and thickness difference between the 2 of them; Munna completely overwhelmed Uma in size, and knowing how big Uma was, one can easily deduce the size of Munna. They're the best couple of Kanha in their time.
