there was some drama going on with the Majingilane Prides
here the othawa expecting a rival lioness (the Short Tail) from Ximhungwe pride and two days ago they killed her leaving the cubs near her body, those cubs are sons and daughter of Majingilane so they are protected by Black Mane, right?
Yes, this happened some time ago. You can read about it in the first page of this thread, posts #7 and #8. Different prides are as much rivals as different coalitions.

The males will of course try to protect their cubs and the "their" females, like Golden Mane was doing with the Ximhungwe girl, but if he's not around, well you saw what the Othawas did to that rival female.
A nice report from Elephant Plains that explains a bit were are the coalitions standing right now. @LionKiss , I think you will find it interesting, as it answers some of your questions. It features both the Majingilane males and the Birmingham males. The bolding of some words is mine.
Ranger report for November 2015: The Birmingham males were also out and about this month, as they were patrolling their boundaries and roaring all over. The young males are getting so much more confident and bolder by the day. These youngsters are still moving into Majingi territory every now and again. At this stage they are testing the waters, but every time they move in, the Majingi male’s powerful roar makes them turn around. The four Majingi males also came through the area the one night and killed a buffalo in our area. This made them stay in the area for two days, while they fed. They are still looking good, but you can see in their scarred faces that their age is starting to show. Although they are getting older, they can still put up a good fight and win. Also, a report from Singita Sabi Sands: The three Othawa pride cubs are doing well, and it was good to see them with all three lionesses and all four Majingilane males. While the Majingilane males are undoubtedly ageing, together they still control a very large chunk of territory. Great news is that one of the Mangheni pride lionesses has recently produced no fewer than five cubs, while another member of the pride is expected to give birth very soon, if she has not already done so. They still are a great force of the Sabi sands, and keep having cubs with their lionesses. It is, this happened some months ago, you can read about it in the first pages of this thread.
at 2:08 - 2:20 you can see the unlucky selati sub male, which appears to be quit young, could be 12 months old
he has a rather worried and disappointed expression in his face as he realizes that his mother moved a little away from him, (it has a symbolical meaning) ,she has been followed by her 3 new cubs, around 2 months old.

Crazy, this is the first time I have seen two opposing coalition males so close to each other but not engaging in a fight. We are still learning so much about big cat communication, its crazy.
Almost like they are talking S*** to each other but neither is making the first move yet. 
Amazing to see how these male lions are moving... They are moving at a round pace, so supple. At the same time they do everything for keeping in touch but certainly not to crash themselves...
