These tigers are from Slovakia and there seem to be some big ones. When watching videos, not giants actually. When taking one photo from right angle, exaggeration is easy. From photo, where whole tiger and person can´t be seen it´s very easy to make wrong calculations. Like on this video in the end.  In videos from this zoo all tigers with this woman in photo have normal looking shoulder heights. Not even closely that big as that photo has been made to look like.

Big croc, I would rather say fat croc... I believed too, at the beginning of the video when he started to turn, that a forelimb was missing.

It´s kind of sad to see these recent postings with captive tigers, all seem to be obese and some a lot. I wouldn´t call them freaks, when they are just over-fed.

On the other hand these tigers are in line with that thought, that when weight is 300 kg or more, big cats start to gain more and more fat. Just like that lion Simba and some other lions prove the same with lions.

At time it was also in Guinness Book of Records as the largest lion in the world, shoulder height was 111 cm. So it is assumed, that maybe it has been weighed also by people of Guinness, but that is just assumption. I was told, that history of Simba is actually very sketchy.

Staff from zoo of Colchester, where Simba and Nyoka visited 1970 said, that Simba was clearly obese. I got also a link to rare, but quite good quality video footage, where it can be clearly seen. That belly swinging there sideways looks like to have some fat inside. Simba can be seen from 2:18 forward.

I contacted Colchester zoo earlier this year, I put here those postings concerning Simba and Nyoka since you seem to be interested. Not much more, something little though.

He's definitely obese but a huge cat none the less. In the wild he'd still be a 270kg+ cat with his dimensions. IMO

Yes it is a big one. Even if 50 kg off it might look pretty fit. I haven´t looked so closely that how good origin of it is known, so I put here a short quote from message, which I got:

"Nick travelled around zoos and circus’s displaying some of his animals.  In 1970, Nick bought some of his animals to Colchester zoo to display, his famous lion Simba was one of them.  At that time Nick claimed Simba was the largest captive lion in the world, which he had caught on the Serengeti Plain in 1959."

It was nice to get reply from zoo and learn what they knew and could tell. As I said, for me around 300 kg lion in wild isn´t something what I would call impossible at all. But if clearly heavier, then the more claimed weight, the more doubts start to be in mind.

Here quote from reply which I got from Colchester zoo.

Excelent man! Bring it on! So, it is not sure if the lion was actually weighed or not, just like the case of the Li-tigon "Cubanacan", which actually was not weighed, just measured.

The lion was huge, that is for sure, but it was obviously very obese. Somehow 111 cm tall at the shoulder looks low for such a large animal, but also based no the video it seems that Nyoka was not a very tall man too.

So, the lion was a wild caught from the Serengeti, but even then, its huge size can be explained only for gigantism or do to a very rich diet, he was very obvese after all.

It will be interesting to know if the lion was actually measured and weighed by people of Guinness of if Wood just quoted the figures that the Zoo provided to him.

According with Wood, this was not a wild lion, but Nyoka purchase him as a six month old cub from the Dublin Zoo in October of 1958, and was actually weighed several times trough its life.

I have the image of the page in the book of Wood but the system is not allowing me to put it. It seems like there are problems with Imgur and I can't upload imaged in the main page too.

I have had interest to find information about animals that would be even beyond the exceptional. With Simba only place coming to my mind with possible good information could be staff of Guinness World Records. But it might be the same as usual, they have in past published a lot of information with inaccuracies/open questions what comes to animals, especially wild animals. But because Simba was captive, who knows... I actually forgot to ask from there, that do they have information about possible weighing.

Then again, as you said, it was clearly an obese lion and quite big. When we have obese people over 500 kg, it makes perfectly sense that any lion or tiger can be fed to be very heavy in captivity. That was probably one reason why I forgot to ask from Guinness, fit and big animals are way more interesting. I think, that captive animals show at least roughly where fitness starts to change to obesity.

In fact, I don't think that there was any Guinness staff involved with this lion. The book is creation of Gerald Wood and his own investigation, even when the book is part of the Guinness family of books. He was a good investigator and he personally contacted many of the sources, especially the contemporary ones in captivity. He provides many details of this lion, which incline me to belive that the data is accurate. The same happen with the tiger "Jaipur" and the liger "Hercules", which were actually measured and weighed, and also the Li-tigon "Cubanacan" which was measured but not weighed, just estimated. In the case of the last three animals, staff of the Guinness were actually involved, as far I know.

As far I know, the category of the "heaviest" animals in captivity is no longer accepted because they took note that the animals that applied to those records were very fat and sometimes even morbid obvese as the people feed them for that especific objective.
