There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I have to talk again with director of that zoo. She was busy when I wrote to her before and she just said briefly, that about 750 lbs. We agreed, that I contact her again this month to get more information.

Put short 160 lbs woman right next to a gorilla and even an average gorilla looks like huge. This can be 500 lbs gorilla, but video isn´t the best possible to see overall how it looks like. Didn´t look like to be especially tall gorilla though. Still any animal about 200 kg right next to a smallish woman is easy to see as a "giant". It would be interesting to see if some better footage filmed of this same gorilla.

Something like this makes it much easier to see what reality is.

How is it possible to mate a jaguar and a lion? Maybe artificial insemination?
