There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

August 2007 As the gene pool of endangered animals like the Siberian tiger shrinks, inbreeding is becoming a serious issue. Now, one ambitious programme aims to stop genetic problems being passed on. Produced by ABC Australia Distributed by Journeyman Pictures

It would be nice if some russian member could tell if they talk something about size/weight of this lion. That for sure looks like to be a big boy.

"Tanzania Kilombero South: flashback around 20 years back...PD with one of the biggest Lions in body size I ever saw in Tanzania. In those days one of the best areas for Simba! On average it used to take us only 7 days to find a big, old single male Lion and most of them without baiting! It als probably had the highest density on Buffalo, Lion and Puku population of Tanzania!
